The highly-acclaimed singjay was admitted to the Methodist Dallas Medical Centre where he had been treated for dehydration and exhaustion as a result of a hectic touring schedule. Anthony B was released on Wednesday and has been ordered by his doctors to rest and stock up on fluids.
"Thanks to all my fans who said a prayer for the I," Anthony B said in a statement.
On Wednesday, Anthony B’s manager, Ronnie Tomlinson revealed that the Tease Her singer had been touring several regions in a short period of time including Europe, Africa, Australia and India. Additionally, Anthony B had complained of feeling sick just hours before his performance inside a Dallas nightclub on Saturday night.
While recovering from his collapse, Anthony B will reschedule dates for an upcoming tour of Europe which was scheduled to begin on Friday in the United Kingdom.
Anthony B has been busy in recent months promoting his new album, Freedom Fighter which was released this past summer. The album features track such as Defend My Own, Cry Blood and Beat Dem Bad (featuring Konshens).
