Born Chad Emerson Waterman, July 8th 1983 in Canarsie and raised in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, NY. For this artist of Guyanese and Bajan heritage, Hip Hop was Chaddy’s first love. However this love for Hip Hop shifted upon discovering roots reggae music. Reggae music has really made a deep Impact on Chaddy eventually resulting in his embracing the Rastafari livity.
Ras Jimmy Opetekwei was born in Accra Ghana on the 30th March 1987 in a cool village in a hot city called Opetekwei a suburb of Dansoman in Ghana. With less academical activities I got into music when i was 13 years.. i was inspired by Buju Banton, Super Cat and simpleton who i really admire so much.
Through works i got myself singing copyright music along the beaches and pubs in Ghana and beyond with the Lucky band and later with the Black Empire band playing alongside Ghana's finest Osagyefo. popa yzee King Yagayo Okumfo Nana Nash doodo and many more.
