~Peter Tosh to get Order of Merit~
Reggae icon Peter Tosh will be conferred the country’s third highest honour, Order of Merit, in October.
Tosh, whose real name is Winston Hubert McIntosh, will receive the honour for his contribution to the evolution of Jamaican popular music.
Other entertainment personalities to be honoured with the Order of Jamaica are Bunny Wailer and Toots Hibbert.
